Stephen Sarfo moves to Egypt

Stephen Sarfo has now signed with Egyptian Club Smouha SC for two years.

The 24-year-old who was a striker for Black Stars B and won the Goal King award in the WAFU 2017 tournament.

That feat got him attention from the Ghanaian populace and avertedly got him interest from clubs outside Ghana.

Earlier on, Stephen Sarfo was on trial with Al-Qadsia based in Kuwait but the deal did not pull through and that got him to finally pen down a deal with Smouha SC.

The striker who has a knack for scoring goals ended the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season with 15 goals to his credit and 3 goals in the MTN FA Cup.

He also emerged the top scorer in the WAFU Cup with 4 goals.

The deal is reported to be worth in excess of $200,000.

Smouha SC currently lie 4th in the ongoing 2017/2018 Egyptian Premier League with 12 points.
